1. Make A Photo Album Of Your Last Trip
One of the best ways to memorize a trip is looking through old photo albums! A fun thing to do when you are stuck and bored at home is ordering/printing some of the most beautiful photos from your last trip and make a photo album yourself.
Make the photo album even more memorable by writing down little stories of your trips, adding tickets and stickers, and drawing along the photos. Enjoy the process and let your creativity take the wheel.
2. Write a Bucket List. The Best Thing To Do At Home For Travel Lovers.
I think everyone has a list in their head of all the things they dream of doing at some point in their lives. Take some time during your quarantine period to write the bucket list of your dreams.
Keep in mind these can be both small things, like cuddling with an alpaca and going on a cycling trip with a picnic basket, and big things like climbing a mountain Everest or hiking up to Machu Picchu. This is your life, and your bucket list should reflect your wildest dreams ❤️.
Daydreaming of this bucket list one of the things to do to skip being bored at home.

3. Try Out A New Healthy Recipe
Besides washing your hands and practicing social distancing, one thing a lot of people don’t really think about is eating healthy. For instance, eating the right vitamins and minerals can really help your immune system and contribute to beating the Coronavirus. Try out a new healthy recipe, have fun in the kitchen, and enjoy eating a delicious meal ☘️!
4. Catch Up With Your Family By Video Calling Them
Now that everybody is staying at home with loads of time on their hands catching up with friends or family is some good time spend. It’s fun to call that friend or family member you haven’t spoken to in a hot minute. Catch up and build on your relationships because friends and family are all you need in life.
5. Make A Green Smoothie – The Healthiest Thing To Do At Home
Green smoothies have been trendy lately. But have you ever made one yourself?! In other words, now is the time to experiment with green smoothies and give yourself that extra kick of vitamins!
Online you can find numerous recipes for green smoothies with different kinds of greenery, fruits, and even spices like turmeric and ginger. Try out a few of these recipes to discover which one is your favorite.
6. Build A Mini Garden In Your Home
Another activity is bringing Mother Nature into your home by creating a mini garden in your home or on your balcony. You could sow veggies, herbs, flowers, or other beautiful plants to cheer up your home and bring that extra oxygen.
7. Deep Clean Your Home
During the springtime, a lot of people get the urge to clean everything, including myself. In other words, take a day to deep clean your room, apartment, or home to make sure everything is nice and fresh. Furthermore, put on some great dance music, sing along to your favorite song, and scrub scrub scrub.
In no time, your home will be transformed into a cozy, clean, and comfortable home you can be proud of! And isn’t it just the most rewarding feeling when you crash onto your couch afterward and look at your beautiful living room with a proud smile on your face?
With a fun song playing in the background, a regular chore changes into a fun thing to do from your home, not having to be bored at all!
8. Learn A Language
If you are a travel lover, speaking multiple languages is super practical! Now is the time to start practicing.
There are tons of ways to practice and learn a new language. You can either watch a movie in the language you want to learn with English subtitles, listen to an audiobook or language course on YouTube (for free), or practice the language on an app on your phone like Duo Lingo.
And to make this even more fun, try to get your friends to start learning this language too so that you can practice together over the phone!
9. Watch The Night Latest Netflix Series
Have you already caught up with Narcos Mexico? Or are you going to binge-watch Stranger Things or Breaking Bad again? It’s all good, as long as you are relaxing and enjoying your time! In addition, grab yourself some snacks and a drink and get comfy.
Tip ➳ Watch a series together with your boyfriend or flatmate, so you have twice the fun!
10. Plan A Trip For After The Coronavirus
Hopefully, soon the Coronavirus is, it will be under control. So that means it will be time to travel again! What better way to spend your day than dreaming and planning your first trip after the Coronavirus.
Create a Pinterest board completely dedicated to this next trip and gather all the information you need to know, for example, on Lisbon or Germany. Pinterest boards are a great source of inspiration and always make me smile!
You can even already do rough day-to-day planning for this trip to get you even more excited. (but don’t book anything yet, wait until the government says it’s under control.)
Tip ➳ I always love to pin the spots I want to go to on Google Maps, so I have them all grouped together.
11. Start Meditating
Meditation is a great tool to reduce stress and to help you order your thoughts. Furthermore, you probably have heard many big public personalities, like steve jobs, talk about the benefits of daily meditation. I can definitely vouch for the benefits of meditation, as I have experienced them for myself. Meditation is a great thing to do when you are bored or stressed at home. Start meditating each day for 5 to 10 minutes and build it up.
I prefer to listen to a guided meditation on YouTube or an app on my phone because I am new to meditating. During a guided meditation session, you listen to somebody who tells you how to breathe and what to think about. This might be helpful for you too.

12. Bake A Cake
Besides eating healthy, we should also treat ourselves to some delicious desserts, like cake. Whip up your grandma’s favorite cake recipe and make yourself a mouthwatering treat.

13. Do An Online Course (My Favourite Thing To Do At Home)
You don’t have to go to school anymore to learn new things nowadays. Thousands upon thousands of online courses in every field imaginable can be found online. In other words, spend your time doing something useful (and fun) and improve your personal skills by doing a course from your home.
Recently, I have done a free marketing course to improve my Pinterest skills, and I watched several tutorials on how to build my website on YouTube. That is the beauty of the 21st century, all this knowledge is only a few clicks away. In other words, you never have to be bored again in your own home with this fun thing to do.
14. Start A Bullet Journal
Start a bullet journal, and make one page a day, fill it with your thoughts and feelings. You can easily make the prettiest drawings to compliment your story or the day because of the dots.
In addition, get funky and use a different colored pen, water paint, and stickers to express your feelings. To play with them is a super fun thing to do when you are bored at home!
Even if you don’t know where to start, simply watch a tutorial on YouTube to help you dive in there.
15. Most Fun Thing To Do At Home: Start A DIY Project
Start a DIY project to boost your home. Do a small project like making some cute plates and coasters, or a big project like building a swing or headboard for your bed as long as you are having fun and are being creative.
I for example hang up these prints and painted the entire living room.
Bonus: Start Working Out
Last but not least, stay in shape and work on your strength by doing a workout in your living room! The only thing you need is a yoga mat or a towel, and you are good to go.
For years I have been watching Blogilates and doing her workouts because they are super fun, and the exercises vary each video. That why I think you’ll love them too.
